Times are a-changin’: Langerado, a festival which has been held for the last six years in the scenic Everglades, has officially been moved to Miami.

This next Langerado, according to the official website, “is moving to the magic city”. Still the same weekend, March 6-8, the festival has been moved to a slightly different location. On September 17th, Langerado news was updated with this tidbit: “Join us Friday March 6, Saturday March 7 and Sunday March 8 at Bicentennial Park, nestled alongside Biscayne Bay in the heart of downtown Miami. The 7th annual Langerado will feature 3 full days of live music on multiple stages spread throughout Bicentennial Park’s 30 acres of lush tropical foliage.  Late night shows will take place at multiple venues throughout Miami, including downtown, the Design District and world famous South Beach.”

Is Langerado turning into Lollapalooza? Is the lineup going to be affected by this change in location? At the end of the weekend, will it actually be that big of a deal? I might still be there…

Langerado 2009 is going to be from March 6-8, 2009, at Bicentennial Park in downtown Miami. Start checking the official site in November for lineup and ticket information.
