Bruce’s Super Bowl Recap
Super Bowl XLIII has come and it has gone. On top of what was an amazing football game, we were also treated to a 12 minute long, energy packed set from Bruce Springsteen, the E Street Band and more including a choir and help from the horns section of the Max Weinberg 7. They say “10th Avenue Freeze Out” was an underdog for the opener… well not to brag or boast, but I called it. Count one on the prop bet sheet for Joe. “Freeze Out” eases you into the show nicely… and they opened with it a lot on the 2008 tour. Anyway, the E Streeters continued on into “Born To Run,” “Working On A Dream,” and stuck the landing with “Glory Days.” Bruce & Co. rocked the house down in Tampa last night, check out the videos after the jump in case you were the only person in the world now watching the Super Bowl…

He’s 59 in case you were wondering.
Also, I’m trying to find a clip of Brian Williams talking about his Jersey days where he would chase Bruce up and down the shore trying to catch a concert. If I do, I’ll post it. If you do, let me know, then I’ll post it.
