Super Mash Bros: Better than Girl Talk?

Fuck Bitches. Get Euros.

Fuck Bitches. Get Euros.

I’m not a huge Girl Talk fan, but I’m addicted to Super Mash Bros’ mash ups. One listen and you’ll be hooked. “It sounds like Girltalk’s hot cousin,” boasts Super Mash Bros‘ website lazerwolf.com. Download their entire debut album, ‘Fuck Bitches. Get Euros,’ for FREE on lazerwolf.

After releasing the album in the summer of 2008, mash brothers (not real brothers) Nick Fenmore and Dick Fink plan on dropping another by the end of February. Plus, visit their myspace to suggest songs they should sample on upcoming tracks.

Twelve tracks in all ‘Fuck Bitches. Get Euros’ plays as one, transitioning almost seamlessly from contemporary rap over 90s rock to Motown undertones with 80s pop over the top. Though the album doesn’t use as many songs as Girl Talk, it has better flow. Despite frenetic changes, Super Mash Bros keeps this flow by switching one song from rhythm track to lead and then subtly placing another song underneath.

Some notable tracks: D.G.A.F.L.Y.F. (feat. Soulja Boy/Sandstorm, among others), Deuteronomy Blunts (Beat It/Kiss Kiss), Future Dads (50 Cent/Jackson 5) and I Fucking Bleed Purple and Gold (MGMT/Eminem/Daft Punk/etc. etc.) Warning to listeners: once you start, you can’t stop.
