Jenny and Tyler are a really cute, musical couple who met at the University of Delaware. I really liked their folky, mellow sound (they kinda remind me of The Weepies), and signed up for their mailing list so i could download their free music. Upon doing this, I somehow got into an email conversation with them and they seem really sweet.

I told them I would write a post about them on this site and asked what they wanted me to say. Jenny’s reply said, “that we’re deeply in love with each other. so yeah. no seriously, um, we’re an independent band doing our thing, we really do survive off of touring and selling cds. we tour out of our honda element. we write the songs together most of the time. we met at the university of delaware my freshman year and have been inseparable ever since. we have two records for sale and we’re putting out a christmas ep in mid november.”

She said they are inspired by “what we see around us, the human heart, justice issues. let me try to be more specific. we write about our relationship and love, but we also write about this world that we live in and how it’s messed up.  that sounds very depressing, but it’s not meant to be. we write about what we can do to make it a little less messed up. our music is part social commentary, part warm & fuzzy.” Cute, right?
